Snake

I didn't see one live. I just ate some the other day.
It was served broiled. The snake was butterflied, and then chopped into 4" sections. So each piece is about 4"x4". It was served with the skin up. So it was a bit like fish, except for the black scales sprinkled with some golden scales. It actually can be a nice carpet pattern. But it is not so nice on my food. It tasted like eel. But the part that put me off is that it came with bones.
It was a week of traveling with a Senior director of Brand to see both my opening projects. It was a successful trip, yet tiring.
Friday night, I went straight to a restaurant from the airport, with luggage in toll, to meet some friends for dinner at the Cool Dock. It really is the Old Dock. But the Shanghainese developer smartly calls it the Cool Dock instead. A fun night indeed. It is also nice to have real friends that we social with.
